Meaning
Hearing the words of the wise Vishvamitra, the greatly splendid, greatly ascetic Shatananda, the hair of his body standing on end, the eldest son of Gautama whose radiance was brightened by his own austerity, was filled with the greatest wonder at the very sight of Rama.
